Decoupaged Easter Eggs

An Easter egg is a decorated egg that the Christians present to each other on the Holy Day of Easter. The legend says that some years after the Resurrection, Mary Magdalene was carrying a basket ful of eggs into Jerusalem. She met up with Governor Tiberius. She proclaimed the good news of Christ's resurrection to Tiberius, who rejected it saying, "Christ has no more risen than those eggs are red." Immediately the eggs turned red. "Christ is risen," she said, holding out a red egg. Tiberius said, "Truly he is risen ."

There are a lot of methods to decorate the Easter eggs. Very simple and very effective one is to decorate the eggs using decoupage napkin technique.
